Introducing Cased Goods and Occasional Furniture by Rowe Furniture

At Rowe, we’re always striving to innovate and inspire, and this fall we unveiled our most groundbreaking collection yet…our very first foray into the world of case goods and occasional furniture! We’re so thrilled to finally be able to introduce you to our brand new line of Rowe case goods, featuring styles that range from glamorous to casually modern, coastally inspired, and more. Our design team takes pride in our always-evolving creativity, showcasing our products in trending lifestyle concepts that demonstrate the flexibility of our products, and the many ways they can be used to create uniquely original spaces.

“The new case goods line was a nice surprise! The Dune Desk seemed to be the crowd favorite [at market]. We came home super excited to share the line with our staff and clients!”
— Michelle Mancuso, Samantha Drew Interiors

Our objectives? Eclectic inspiration. Stylish simplicity. Practical beauty. A truly unique collection that combines beautifully with our upholstered pieces to create spaces that are up-to-the-moment in current trends, yet also unlike any seen anywhere else. As with our upholstered occasional furniture in the Rowe and Robin Bruce lines, our occasional furnishings cater to a multitude of styles and price points. These new occasional offerings include accent tables, storage options such as credenzas and airy etageres, and (the showstopper piece at our most recent High Point Market!), a shapely oak desk with midcentury-inspired curves. Metal, stone, mirror and fine woods combine to create complementary pieces that are perfectly designed for living, storytelling, and inspiration. Our new line is intended to add depth and flexibility to our design story–allowing you to work with Rowe in a whole new way!

The quality of construction is excellent and Rowe is really paying attention to current design trends and styles.
— Leyla Jaworski, Design Shop Interiors
Rowe Furniture Chicago

Never stand still: that’s our motto. This new direction represents a truly bold step for the innovators and dreamers at Rowe Furniture, as we continue to grow as a design resource while always offering the value and distinctive style that is synonymous with our name. We have decided to “break the mold” of typical, collection-based case goods by offering eclectic occasionals that are flexible enough to work with all our pieces, allowing you to create your custom style! While most furniture companies begin with a background in case goods, we spent years creating a broad base of popular upholstered frame styles, then developed our case goods to complement and enhance our existing lines. Our aim is not to decorate for the masses, but to offer tools for consumers and designers to make buying effortless and create beautiful spaces that speak to their individuality. Our team feels the utmost excitement and pride, having invested so much of our time, efforts and ourselves in creating this new line. We look forward to sharing this labor of love with you, our Rowe customers!

3 Kitchen Trends That Are Going To Be Everywhere In 2019

What's hot in the world of kitchen design for 2019?

From House Beautiful

Kitchen Trends of 2019

While minimalism and rose gold appliances were huge for 2018, the new year is bringing in a few different ideas for your kitchen. If you're planning a kitchen reno—or just want to make sure you're staying on top of what's trendy—you need to know what designers are doing for 2019. We spoke with Los Angeles-based interior designer, Natalie Meyers, to get you the deets on what's about to become all the rage.

2019 Kitchen Trends
  1. Incorporate Stone

Get a little rustic in the new year and consider incorporating more stone. According to Meyers, "people are falling in love with the abstract canvases painted by Mother Nature and using natural stone beyond countertops. Designers are continuing the stone material to waterfall edges and tall backsplashes." Sometimes they carry the stone all the way to the ceiling, and you can even fabricate drawer fronts and hood vent covers out of natural stone.

2. Mixed in Beadboard Accents

Considering adding beadboard accents on drawer fronts, hood vent surrounds, or island fronts. They are an "eye-catching way to add subtle texture to a kitchen," Meyers says.

3. Matte Black

"Matte black fixtures and hardware are growing in popularity," Meyers says. "What was once a minimal and stark choice in all white modern kitchens is now a fun way to subtly add contrast to wood cabinets and more traditional Shaker style kitchens."
