5 Tips on how to best store your food from Subzero/Wolf
Fresh Food Matters
Fresh food matters. It nourishes so many parts of life. When you use fresh food, you're touching on matters of health, family life, fitness, longevity, society, culture, the economy, the environment and of course, the pure pleasure of enjoying something delicious.
How do you store that? It's always a wonder of how to best store some of these important foods, enjoy these tips below from our friends at Subzero/Wolf.
Milk:
Store on a refrigerator shelf for 1-2 weeks. Not in the door where the temperature is most variable. Freezing milk is not recommended.
Lettuce:
Most varieties may be stored in your refrigerator's crisper drawer for 2-3 weeks. If roots are attached, wrap roots loosely in a damp paper towel.
Eggs:
Refrigerate for up to three weeks on a shelf where the eggs will not be agitated. As the saying goes, a still egg is a happy egg.
Tomatoes:
Store on countertop away from ethylene-emitting foods such as apples. Don’t refrigerate tomatoes unless very ripe and you need to prolong their usefulness a day or two.
Raspberries:
Store in refrigerator drawers; 3-6 days is the optimum storage time. Don't wash raspberries until just before use. Freezing is not recommended.

9 Best Laundry Tips You Need to Know
We offer wholesale prices on all Kitchen and Laundry appliances and here are 9 of the best laundry tricks that will change your laundry life forever.
1. Know your laundry symbols:
2. If your towels have already seen better days... use vinegar and baking soda instead of detergent.
Boost towel absorbency and get rid of the towel stank for good. It takes two machine washes in hot water; the first with vinegar, and the second with baking soda.
3. If you have a top Load Washer leave the lid open between washes.
Who knew? This tip we got from our friends at SpeedQueen. After a load of wash, leave the washer's lid open to allow the inside to dry out after use and avoid musty smells.
4. Skip the dryer sheets and use long-lasting dryer balls instead. HEDGEHOGS!

Hedgehog dryer buddies soften fabric naturally, controls dryer static, hypoallergenic and reusable. Makes your laundry soft and fluffy without the waste or expense and they are cute little Hedgehogs!
5. Know your water temps.
Just good to know! Print this out and tape above your washer or write on a cute chalkboard sign.
6. Use a stain stick:
OxiClean Gel Stick (seriously works miracles) you can find it at Target or Amazon.
7. Stinky jeans need to chill. To keep them in good condition skip the washing machine and keep them in the freezer between wears.
The cold will apparently kill bacteria that causes odor. Just remember to get them out to defrost an hour or so before wearing.
8. To prevent the loud sneaker bang buy a sneaker bag.
Amazon
9. To prevent color fading: Toss your clothes in the wash with a teaspoon of salt.
